Reiki Master Degree
Reiki Master/Teacher
The full bloom. Master-level attunement, performed personally — and the responsibility to teach.
What this level asks of you
First Degree gave you your hands. Second Degree took the walls away. Master is not a third technique on top of two others — it is the point at which Reiki stops being something you receive and becomes something you pass on.
You'll be given the Master symbol. You'll learn to attune others — to open in another person what was once opened in you. And you'll take on the quiet obligation that comes with it: that everyone you attune will name you when they name their lineage, and that they will teach as you taught them.
That is not a burden I hand over lightly, and it is not one you should accept lightly either.
A word about difficulty
Master level asks less of your study than Second Degree and more of your character. There is not a great deal to memorise. There is a great deal to sit with.
Most people who struggle at this level do not struggle with the material. They struggle with the steadiness, and steadiness takes time.
Who this is for
You'll need First and Second Degree before you begin.
[If you were attuned elsewhere, write to me first and tell me who attuned you.] I don't require that you trained with me. I do require that you know your lineage and can name it.
I take Master students seriously and I'd rather we spoke about any concerns before you enrol. If either of us thinks the timing is wrong, that's a good outcome, and it costs nothing.
You receive
The Reiki Master/Teacher manual
The Master symbol, and instruction in its use
The attunement procedures for all three degrees — how to pass Reiki to others
Guidance on teaching: how to work with your student, what to expect, what to refuse
Your personal distant attunement, at a time arranged with you
A certificate showing your lineage, and the right to teach and attune others
Ongoing support
I look forward to working with you - when the time is right
Amanda
